PRIX PICTET STORM

Victoria & Albert museum, London

The Prix Pictet is the global award for photography and sustainability. The inaugural exhibition at the V&A presents a shortlist of twelve artists and travels the world for two years between each new cycle.

This exhibition is organised across two galleries within the Photography centre at the V&A. The two angled walls in the first gallery create a striking dialogue with the classical architecture and add a sense of disruption in line with 'Storm'. In the second gallery, space is organised around a 30 metre long photograph. The chromatic palette is neutral with strikes of yellow on the wall ends, and a lighter colour on part of the walls to give rythm to the space.
