David Gilmour

The David Gilmour Collection was exhibited at Christie’s London in March 2019 as part of a world tour. On view was David Gilmour’s personal collection of over 120 guitars, including the legendary ‘Black Strat’ played on The Dark Side of the Moon, Wish You Were Here, Animals, and The Wall. The entire collection was auctioned with proceeds to charity.

An immersive exhibition with large backlit visuals acting as a backdrop to the guitars. The exhibition had different scenes to bring the collection to life: the performance space with a large LED screen and laser lighting, the more intimate rehearsal studio, as well as an instagrammable moment where visitors could hold and enjoy one of the guitars.
