Grief

Set design for a dance performance on the theme of grief.

Dried flower stems, branches, seed pods, and fresh flowers rise from birch tree trunks lying on the floor. The set is envisioned as a dynamic landscape of natural elements, allowing the dancers and audience to interact by adding flower stems.

As time passes through the various performances, the set will continue to evolve, with certain elements being replaced as the seasons change. 

Some of the elements in this set were grown from seed, reflecting my passion for growing and arranging flowers.​
